Dr. Benjamin Phillips, DDS is a general dentist who completed his undergraduate degree at Indiana University. He then continued onto Colorado State University for post baccalaurate coursework in Biochemistry before attending The State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. While in dental school he also completed an externship in oral surgery and a minor in endodontics. After graduation while practicing in the Bangor area, Dr. Phillips has treated a wide variety of patients including children and adults of all ages.
Dr. Phillips is a member of the American Dental Association, Maine Dental Association, and Penobscot Valley Dental Society. Dr. Phillips has completed continuing education in many aspects of dentistry and believes in offering comprehensive, high quality care in a comfortable and calming environment for the whole family, children and adults alike.
Dr. Phillips lives in Hermon with his family.
Heather Lord, RDH
Heather grew up in East Millinocket before moving to the Bangor area in 1995. She has been in the health care and dental field for more than 10 years working in Maine and South Carolina. Before becoming a dental hygienist, Heather worked as a dental assistant in both oral surgery and periodontal practices.
Heather attended the University College of Bangor and graduated salutatorian of her class in 2007. While in school, she received the Outstanding Clinician Award and became a member of the Dental Hygiene National Honor Society.
For the past 6 years, Heather has worked as a Dental Hygienist in both general and pediatric offices gaining experience in treating children and adults. She regularly attends continuing education classes and holds both a current nitrous oxide certification and local anesthesia license. Heather cares greatly for her patients and strives to offer thorough yet gentle care. She truly believes in prevention of dental diseases and its postive effect on maintaining whole body health. Heather lives in Newburgh with her husband and two boys.
